Peter Loizzo's, President of By Design Landscape Concepts Inc. passion for landscaping was cultivated at an early age through the time he spent at his grandfather’s nursery. Peter was fortunate to learn from his grandfather, Lorenzo Lauriente, and his brother, Ciro Lauriente, who built one of the most respected nurseries in the area. As a child, Peter would spend hours exploring the greenhouse, climbing onto tractors, and playing among the stacked bales of peat moss—experiences that unknowingly shaped his future in landscape design.

With a degree in Environmental Design and Plant & Soil Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Peter turned that passion into a profession, establishing By Design Landscape Concepts, Inc. in 1989. Since then, we have remained committed to designing and building distinctive outdoor environments that seamlessly blend natural resources, horticultural expertise, and creative visions. Every project we take on is designed to harmonize with its surroundings while enhancing both beauty and function, making our first impression a lasting one!
